When you want to remove mildew stains, realize for white vinegar first. It can be safely used in need additional aeration and can be applied to almost any surface --bathroom fixtures and tile, clothing, furniture, painted surfaces, plastic curtains, and more. To eliminate filling mildew accumulations, use it full strength. For desk light stains, dilute it with an equal amount of marine. You need to find the source first, sorry but it will hold coming back.
Is it coming from beneath the carpet and traveling up the wall or the other channel?
Reason is you may have a crack within the wall where sea is seeping and that wishes to be repaired first. If it is a ground floor is water seep up? (Or has the dog vanished a present?)
Once you figure out where on earth the source is and contain it or patch it, I would start by steam cleaning with a mold remover put contained by with the cleaning solution of the cistern of the steam cleaner. This will suck out and up most of the mold, while applying a mold inhibitor on the surfaces.
