what is the least expensive way to remove soda stains from carpet?

I have this huge brown soda stain in the middle of my living room floor and I want to know if there is a very cheap way to get rid of it,without going out and buying all those expensive carpet cleaners

Answers:
Try Windex (or similar glass cleaner like glass plus)

Maybe try resolve cleaner. It works well for when my cat pukes fur & hairballs.

Try Resovle or the more expensive Oxy clean. Thats the only way I know. Although I have heard that Coca Cola Removes stains...... But I think you already tryed that one eh?
soda crystals and water - works on everything
sounds strange but plain old soda water may help another is bi carbinated soda. make a paste up with a bit of water and rub into the stain
I know you don't want to buy something, but I keep a bottle of Folex around and it's about the best stuff on the market for carpet stains. Worth every penny (and it's not expensive). I buy mine at Target.
