Soak it in cold water with Era detergent. don't dry it until you're sure the stain is out. Hot water will set it and you'll never get it out.
Cold water.
Never hot. Genely dab with cold water until the blood is gone. Don't use bleach, cleaners, or anything.
Hot water and bleach et cetera causes the blood cells to burst and deposit the iron onto the fabric making it permanate.

try rubbing it with lemon several time and rinse it off with cold water.
Soak it it cold water. hot or warm will set it into the shirt. Then rub laundry soap in it let it sit for a half hour. Wash in cold water.. If it isnt out all the way, repeat in cold water. Do not dry until it comes out.
Immediately rinse the stain with cold water. Saturate the stained area with liquid dish detergent and put it in cool/cold water to soak overnight. Often, this by itself works well & totally dissolves the bloodstain. My tap water is very hard, which might actually help; so you could add like a 1/2 tsp of salt to your soak. After soaking, rinse and evaluate. If the stain is reduced, repeat and then wash in COLD in the washer and hang dry. Don't apply any heat (washing, drying or ironing) until the stain is gone.

oxy-clean!! can't say enough good stuff about it. use very hot water when you mix it, cold water doen't work as well.
