How do I to remove a red wine stain on a cream colored, thick silk shirt that has already been dry cleaned?

I've actually tried this on a new shirt I had spilled red wine down the front. Just mix Dawn dish washing soap in Peroxide soak the stain. It will disappear. I got the info on this site a while back.
