My friend washed a red rug with a quilt, now the white quilt is pink, how do I get the quilt white again?
Answers:
Have you ever herd of rit fabric dye products they are real cheap...they have a few for this particular problem
one is called white wash- for non-bleachable white garments
and Color Remover- help remove color from dye-transfer stains on washable 100% white fabrics without damaging garment fibers. The latter of the two might be your best bet and they are really cheap no more then a few cents or dollars depends on where you live.

I would say it's almost impossible - some bleach might help. Too bad something in this world isn't reversable.

bleach?
The only possible solution is bleach.
Wash it multiple times in hot water with bleach.
Go to your local dry cleaners and see if they can help.
I would say use bleach. And if the bleach doesn't work spray the quilt with shout and also put bleach in the wash. Good luck I hope it helps.
ist don't put it in the dryer or the color will set. spray and wash should work but you might need to do it several times.
Bleach is probably the only way and that might not even get it to the white it once was. Well now they know not to wash red and white things together.
umm you can go to the store and buy some white dye or you can try to bleach it but other than that it would be inpossible
cascade, lots of it, and hottttttt water
bleech it!
try rid rust and stain remover for whites. It is a white clothing dye
lol oops I ment rit dye...not rid
bleach it?
make sure the quilt will not be ruined by the bleach or dye.. check the material.. maybe test the bleach in a conrner first...
my mom uses seriously hot water and cascade powder (original not lemon) to get color stains out of white. i don't think it works for any other 'color'except white. soak it.quilts are big and absorbent so it might have to be done a few times.
Try RIT dye color remover. It doesn't seem to damage the fabric like bleach, works better to remove colors, but it costs more and smells awful.
I use it to rewhiten whites that get dingy too.
OHHHH... YOU PROBABLY WILL NEVER GET IT WHITE WHITE AGAIN, BUT TRY TO SOAK THE QUILT IN BLEACH, AND VINEGAR ALL DAY- THEN PUT IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE WITH SOME LAUNDRY DETERGENT, 1 1/2 CUP OF BLEACH, 1/4 VINEGAR, AND WASH IT ON THE HOT. I HOPE THAT THIS HELPS!! SORRY TO HEAR THAT!!
BLEACH???
I don't think anything will take it back to a natural white again.
Here is my solution: Stop fretting over it and buy a new one. Then wrap your friend up in the one she ruined and beat her. Doesn't solve your problem, but I guarantee you'll feel better.
Go to your laundry section or at walmart your fabric section. Ask for fabric dye section. Buy rite out made by rid. This works.
bleach it to withe again
