I have brown spots, that might be rust, on my stainless steel flatware. How do I remove?

Answers:
Javex or CLR

And no it's not rust but I know what your talking about. You must wash them in a dishwasher because mine are Stainless Steel also and they get those same marks. Javex works just fine!

Magic eraser sponge.
Simple. One cheap box of "SOS" Pads. No other brand. Not Brillo or plastics. Get the mini's. Then use elbow grease. Clean as a whistle. Works really good on the back of pots and pans and on stoves. Remove the rims and soak, then use SOS Pads. I would sell these things door to door.
put a few drops of cooking oil on and try scrubbing it with cloth .. good luck!
To remove rust from stainless steel flatware, a paste of lemon juice and cream of tartar used as a polish usually does the trick. For very stubborn rust deposits, you may need to coat the silverware in the cream of tartar paste and let it sit for a few hours or overnight before polishing.
Don't laugh but you have to pour pee on it (fresh urine) and let it soak then spray windex on it and it will break apart with a gentle rub with a towel.
