stuck on greases and oil built up over time cannot be taken off lacking stripping the wood's finish also. since both are similar in their molecular form up. (both are hydrophobic).
I suggest a paint stripper, or vanish remover.. lucklessly.
They sell wipe on, wipe rotten ones that aren't that much work.. just raining a cloth, rub on, let sit, rub past its sell-by date or just a putty stick to scrap bad... takes no time at adjectives.
Then, sand with a fine grit sand weekly, like 200 or 220 grit. later stain with a wipe on, wipe bad wood stain.
you can get wood stains that own finishers in them as in good health, so they stain and seal the wood within one shot... though it is more professional to stain, then finish next to a sealer or laquer of some type.
Im sorry, but that's the only instrument to get the grease and grease out of those old wooden cabinet.
I have duplicate gross greasy cabinets from years of my grandmother cooking and frying subsequent to them... had to refinish.
Unless you enjoy formica/laminate cabinets.. contained by this case, try going to home Depot and getting "lacquer thinner" and rub that on the grease... or " contact cement remover" (contains hexane)... that will work resembling a charm.
First: wash down next to vinegar in dampen (I never measure)
Second: wash down next to household ammonia in marine if necessary (I don't, really i don't).
After adjectives that dries, apply "Liquid Gold"
I went to wal-mart and bought a shark steamer and it steamed adjectives the grease off of my cabinet, wall tiles, everything!!! Works great! And sanitizes too! It'll gross you out at adjectives the gunk that rolls off!!!
There's some great products out nearby for this specific purpose.
Cabinet Magic is one I have tried; in recent times go to Home Depot and in that should be plenty of cabinet restoration kits. A little elbow grease and some current hardware should make them looking devout as new.
