How do I properly hand wash bras? Doesn't squeezing out the detergent and water damage them?
Answers:
Don't sqweeeeze, wring or twist of any kind...Just let em' drip dry.. Doin all that other stuff will stretch them out and stretch out the elastic!!

Just soak them in water and detergent for a couple of hours, then move them around in the water softly, then rinse, without squeezing them and destorting their shape.

You should soak them in lukewarm water with mild detergent for about 10 minutes. Then, use the back of your hand to wash the cups (sponge- or fixed shaped types) or rub the cups together in a scrubbing motion to clean them. Same goes for the straps.
Squeezing them out should not damage them, as long as you reshape them before hanging them up to dry. I find that it is easier to reshape them with a fist.
I wash by hand then put the bras in a lingerie bag and put it on the washer on spin cycle ONLY to get the water out, then air dry.
Snap the hook(s) and place in a mesh wash bag (found in any K-mart or Walmart) it zips and throw in the washer, works great!
