how can you get blood stains out of a mattress?

Answers:
Simply get some cotton balls and peroxide. Dab the peroxide on the stains, blot with a towel (something dark) and repeat till it comes clean. This worked for me on other clothes.

Oxy Clean
Oxy Clean
um...do we want to know why you have blood stains on ur mattress
one part vinger two part water
brush it off with soap and water with the strongest bleach you can ever find.
Hydrogen peroxide will remove blood stains from laundry, and from your mattress - if the stain is not too deep. Pour it over the stain and let it sit for a while, then scrub the stain out using laundry detergent or stain remover like shout/oxyclean/clorox 2/etc. if your matress is white (or you dont mind white spots) use bleach AFTER the hydrogen peroxide has been washed out.
2 part vinegar one part bleach it worked on my bed i started my period in the middle of the nite or did i?????????lolz
GREASED LIGHTNING!
Mean Green, from Wal-Mart.
I'm not going to tell you in case you re a murderer!(joking)
Hairspray works wonders on blood and protein stains (grass stains, mud etc.)
Not sure, but try salt and water.
Shampoo, hair shampoo, works best on blood. It is made to break down proteins and blood is a protein. Use a wash cloth, COLD water and some shampoo and it should come put no problem. Dampen the area, put some shampoo on and work it in to the stain. Just have to let it dry. Good Luck!
If it is fresh blood, try rubbing ice over the stain. Then dab it. Also you could by a stain remover that's made for furniture and won't runi the look of it. These are in the cleaning isle relatively close to Febreeze. Which by the way is an excellant odor remover for the air or for furniture.
FIRST...HIDE THE BODY!!

Then, toss it in the dumpster..(Not the one you put the body in, its a dead giveaway!)...

Now, call the Police after the dumpsters have been gone for awhile and report the body missing...

Report to jail, after body is found...

Remember BUBBA likes you... be kind to him :)

I wish you well...

Oxy Clean or any cleaner that advertises enzyme breakdown. You need a more natural detergent that dissolves proteins.

so ... where did you hide the body?
Use the liquid Oxy Clean and let it soak for a while, then take a wet towel and blot out the stain...keep using the Oxy Clean until the stain is removed or unnoticed.
bleach..2 parts h2o....soap solution
Where'd you hide the body? :)
old fashined viniger, water and elbow grease will do the trick and its cheaper than leading brand cleaners hopr that work for you good luck
Use Peroxide directly on the stain, Once it bubbles scrub hard with a brush (I use an old toothbrush) and repeat many times. Make sure you move the brush in different directions to get the stain out of the fabric and rinse with cold water only!
Use Cold water(y on earth do u have blood on ur mattresss!!??)
cotton balls and peroxide/bleach
use soap water and brush
By FAR the BEST product-- especially for odors:

Kids 'N' Pets

Quart sized-- about 4 bucks -- I can only find it at Wal-Mart.
Typically, works best if you use it first before you use any other cleaners, since some cleaners can actually "set" the stain. But I have used it on old stains and it still can work.

Took that really strong cat urine odor out of my rugs.

Dissolves fresh blood stains in seconds-- actually "digests" odors and stains!

Chocolate stains-- easy work.

You do NOT need to scrub it-- just rub it around.

I would NOT use bleach on a mattress, can actually break down the cotton and your cover can rip.

The enzyme cleaner is a pour spout, so I'd just dab it on maybe with a washcloth soaked in it, depending on the size of the stain.

Afterwords-- if there's any color left at all, use Folex carpet cleaner from Home Depot-- just spray it on -- should finish it off nicely. But you definitely want to use the enzyme cleaner first before you set the stain.

Either way, just be careful to not drench the stain-- you don't want so much liquid in the mattress as to seep down and rust your innersprings.

Then get a nice thin mattress cover for 15 bucks at target... :)

Good Luck!
