Cut bad the bottom stitched hem at bottom of legs. Razor cuts, slashes across knees, poke holes where you want holes, sandpaper pockets, seam. Add bleach to water or straight bleach "splattered" over jeans, dip leg bottoms contained by bleach. Let it bleach until happy and later run through a full rinse cycle of machine. Split side seam of pant legs, add textile inserts or grommets laced beside leather laces or sanctuary pins, the sky's the limits. Use a cheese grater.

The more you do, the more you mop up them the worse they get. Hope this help. Have FUN.
The program uses acid wipe -- you don't want that chemical in your jeans..
Go to the emancipation army they have racks of jeans that are alread weathered...
Or pocket those jeans and wait 10 years...
You could try wash them & saying audibly, "I hope these don't fade or fray". That seems to do it for my jeans. Or you could try sandpaper. I hear of someone who did this. As for fraying, take the hem out.
here are a lot of stores that transport that look now, but it is really trouble-free to do yourself with your own jeans that costs abundantly less than running our to buy different ones.

If you want discoloration you can mix bleach and water and put it where on earth you want it on the pants. It works really economically, just don't walk crazy.
If you want holes that are frayed or hems that are you can use a seam ripper or scissors and cut a hole slightly smaller than what size you want it to be and use your fingers to pick at the strings to support pull them out a bit, consequently launder them and it will fray more. The same with the hem. you can cut it, embezzle it out or take a scissor blade sideways and verbs the hem tight and scrape it until it is how you resembling it.

hope it works for you.
Ask any 6 year old kid.
We used to bring ours down to the the deep and dip them in the brackish water and agree to them soak in a bucket for a few days. The saline would eat away at the blue dye and confer them that worn in look.

But I close to that other suggestion. Wash them and say distinctly, "I hope these don't fade or fray!" I got a honourable laugh out of that. Good luck!
I know a friend who uses tack hammer. She just tack hammer it until the cloth looks worn out.
