How do I take the smell of rancid butter out of my trunk?
Answers: If it's just the odor you entail to get rid of, you can put a few pieces of charcoal briquet's surrounded by a paper sack and walk off in your trunk. (Do NOT use the express start kind though!) They will hold the odor almost immediately. If the source of the odor hasn't be removed, the smells will come back. If it is within the carpet of your trunk, remove it, use a commercial hearth rug cleaning product, and put back merely after completely dry.
Take a few bowls of vinegar, and leave them within the trunk overnight. and that will absorb the odor. You can also wipe the inside with 3 cup of dampen 1 cup of vinegar.
Throw several balls of wadded up daily in the trunk and head off it overnight. The newspaper should involve the smell. Coffee grounds also work wonders for stinky trunks, freezers, fridges, etc. If all else fail, spray the trunk with a no-vacuum spray.
