I had a candle melt on good cloth napkin, how do I remove candle wax?
Answers:
So far some of the answers are close but no cigar. Just put the napkin in the freezer and make the wax cold and brittle. Just crumble it out of the napkin. You may need to put back in freezer a few times to completely remove the wax but it is faster and safer to do it this way.
Other answers:
You can heat it and get it off with a hair dryer the heat will make the wax melt.
Tryit it works.

Just put paper towels over the wax and iron it out with an iron.
Yes, putting paper towel on top and underneath the napkin as you iron it will remove the wax.
Place a brown paper bag over the waxy cloth. Iron on medium. The moisture(Wax) will absorb into the bag.. It will work.... Good Luck
wait till the wax dries up then just pull it off. dont try to take it off when its wet, NEVER EVER! Always wait till it dries.
There's a product (or two) with names like Goo Gone and Goo Off. Those will do the trick. Patch check on a piece of fabric to make sure it won't affect the color negatively.
You must really like your napkins - and thats ok. Anyway I looked it up and this is what I found, according to HGTV.com you should run an ice cube over it and then chip off the wax with a dull knife.
place a couple paper towels together over the spot then cover them with an old towel and iron that on low to med. this should melt and draw wax out into paper towels. may take several tries for larger spots. good luck.
dip it in ether and then wash it
Put it in the freezer, then you can break the wax off.
Much Love!!
send it into the dry cleaners, the solvents they use should handle it, Or try running it in the laundry with hot water an a good strong mix of TSP(available at paint store), most other solvents are too dangerous for home use or are likely to destroy the fabric.
First put it in the freezer then chip off what you can. May have to repeat several times. Ie ther is still some wax imbedded in the fibers use your iron. Place several thickneeses of paper toweling under the napkin and some toels on top. Iron on high if fabric will tolerate high heat. Wax will melt into towels. Aagain youu may have to repeat . Change towels when they get saturated.
First you ICE it, then lay it in a bed if tissues and use a hairdryer on the back of the stain until all the wax has melted away into the tissues. Buy a book called "Spotless" by Shannon Lush and Jennifer Fleming.......Published by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.......250 pages of non-chemical stain removing remedies.
