How can I keep the dye/coloring from running out of my wet swimsuit ?

I bought a swimsuit for my grandchild, actually, and whenever it is wet, the pink dye runs down her body. After she takes it off, there is pink stain on her body. I have followed all directions on the tag for washing/drying, still, after every trip to the pool, there's a trail of pink following the child. Any way to make it stop losing dye ?

l have found that anything that runs [as in colourwise] is best soaked in a solution of salt and cold water before you wear the garment and just dunked quite a few times..up and down. [Without the child in it of course.]

You will find that it will make the colour colourfast and it will basically set it..

l have used this method on Indian tie died products...and jeans and a whole range of things and it keeps the colour looking as good as new.
