Rust coming from holes within wash contrivance?

There is rust coming from the holes in my 5-year-old wash machine. I own seen posts that suggest using a rust remover, but that doesn't solve my problem long possession. Any ideas?


Answers:    You can try to use some special enamel you can purchase at hardware stores (less than $5), but if you can't see the nick in the enamel of the picnic basket (that cause the rust stains) to do the touch-up, you inevitability to have the wash basket contained by your machine changed out. Ask around for how much that would cost though (parts and labor), because it might be cheaper to only just purchase a new mechanism.
