how do I get it out?
Answers:
if you can get your hands on some ethanol you might try that
Other answers:
I've found that it's best to never wash most stains until you know what to treat it with first. Washing usually tends to set stains it and make them harder to get out.
Since you said you already applied nail polish remover, I'm assuming the fabric is safe to use acetone. A synthetic fabric might not hold up - it would just disintegrate - melt, sorta. If in doubt try it in an area that won't be seen, like the facing or seam inside, first.
Pure acetone is the active ingredient in nail polish remover. You can buy this where nail polish remover is sold. Mine says 'Nail Tip Remover' and is acetone. THIS STUFF IS EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE! Take ALL precautions when using it! Do this outside where you have adequate ventilation! What I did to a blouse that got polish spilled on it was to soak that area in the acetone. It took a long time, it seemed, to dissolve the polish. Don't leave it unattended even for a second if kids or even other adults around - just too risky! It did take out the polish. I, then, washed it in the washer once it had dried. It evaporates out rather quickly, actually.
I hope this helps. I know how I felt about my blouse!
