What is the best way to clean a plastic shower curtain?
Answers:
i put mine in the bathtub full of hot water(if it is plastic, the hot water will soften it so it won't crack), depending on the color or fabric, it is always good to put some bleach in the water while it is running to get it mixed up good before you put the curtain in there. the bleach will take care of any mildew stains and also brightens it up and smells good. just regular laundry detergent. some of them crack and tear if put in the washer...again, depends on the kind of fabric it is.
Other answers:
wash it in the washing machine on like a delicate cycle. Maybe put in some bleach too.

you can scrub it a little with hot water and soap and a brush, but if it is realy moldy then you should replace, those things run like 5 bucks at your local walmart
go to a dollar store and buy a new one
I won't say it is the "best way," but I have put the plastic curtain in the washing machine and washed it and then put it back up on the hanging pole to dry, using my hands to smooth out wrinkles and the rest fall out naturally. If the color can take it, you can put Clorox in the wash and it gets rid of all that "stuff" on the curtain that builds up.
I just did mine 3 weeks ago.
You lay it down flat on patio or driveway, dirty side faces the sky. Spray with water then scrub with comet make sure you cover every square inch. Rinse out with water again.
It is optional if you want to clean it again with windex and paper towel for a final spark.
the washing machine/bleach is the best way - been doing it for years. delicate cycle, hang on rod to dry. my curtain liners have lasted for years at a time.
buy a new one, the mildew is very difficult to get off- if not try a little diluted bleach
go to a car wash and spray it off, or you can use a power washer. to
Wash it in the machine with a load of towels. Using the normal amount of detergent and softener.
Just toss it in trash, and replace it. They're not very expensive, even at Walmart. I got rid of mine and replaced it.
