Try newspaper and any window cleaner.
Vinegar and water works good, and it's safe, natural and non toxice to you and the enviroment
Newspaper and vinegar(diluted.)
If you wipe across on one side of a window and up & down on the other it is easy to tell where the finishing touches are needed.
glass cleaner and a soft cloth
Don't buy any cleaning products from the store--use vinegar. Just put straight white vinegar, or you can mix it with a little water, in a spray bottle, spray it right on the mirror or glass, and wipe it off with paper towels. I have even used newspapers to wipe it off. I learned this because I got a parrot and they are very sensitive to the vapours of household cleaners, so this was a natural alternative. When I tried it, it worked better than any cleaner I had ever bought from the store. Cheaper too! Good luck.
Don't laugh but you have to pour pee on it (fresh urine) and let it soak then spray windex on it and it will break apart with a gentle rub with a towel.
joy dish soap and a squgie works best
Vinegar + water solution and old newspapers or tissue paper (no lint).
Diluted windshield washer fluid. Put it in a spray bottle and wipe with a towel. I've tried this after hearing it from my mother-in-law. It works wonders and having two kids and a dog.....you wouldn't believe what it all takes off windows.
Rubbing alcohol or a microfiber cloth. If you use the cloth you won't even need a liquid - just wipe & the mirror will be clean :o)
When my Windex ran out one day, I went to the garage and got the windshield washer fluid and refilled the bottle. It seems to work very well and it's a lot cheaper. I just use paper towels, I never had good luck with the newspaper method. Some people say a squeegee is the way to go.
