I have come to the conclusion that am not an enthusiastic housekeeper. Can I channel my inner June Cleaver?
Answers:
I feel the same way. I can keep my house "looking" clean to anyone who stops by but if you look hard it is a mess. Laundry (clean, just needs put away) piled up kids' rooms a mess bathroom needs cleaning. I always get supercharged when I know we are having company, ex: mother-in=law, my Grandmother, friends from work. any other time I just clean what is seen when you are passing through!! Got to much to do these days to keep house spotless!!

Believe me I know where you are coming from. All I can say is maybe one day a week decide what will be your CLEANUP day and stick to it. Choose one area to clean like bathroom on Monday, then livingroom on Wed. and so on. That way you don't feel overwhelmed in having so much to do at one time. I have to do it this wayi or I will be living in a pigpin!!

I hate housework too.
When I see a shiny clean house--I think, there's a household with no internet. LOL!
I like to do all my major housework on one day over the weekend while listening to my favorite cds. Listening to music while I clean keeps me focused.
I also time myself. I don't usually make lists I just keep it in my head.
For example,
Kitchen (dishes, counters, floor, clean out fridge) 1 hour
Bathroom (sink, counter, shower wall, floor) 1 hour
etc.
Also, if you keep neat and clean on non-cleaning days, it makes it that much easier & faster on cleaning days!
lol,,,,,i think all of us woman know that feeling,,,,housework does suck,,,,,sometimes i wish i could say shag it,,,,lmao
Try www.flylady.com
Try joining some kind of a co-op, offering what you do enjoy as your service to be able to take from another who offers that as their service. If you can't find a co-op in existence, try starting one. Some mother/father might just love an opportunity to be away from the kids for a while in a different location and making it cleaner might be easy for them. Or pay someone to do just the parts you hate the most. Always, it pays not to leave any mess behind you that can be taken care of in a couple of minutes so the worst doesn't build up so bad.
put on your fav music as loud as you like it doesmake a difference
