what household cleaner can u use to kill aphids or ants??
Answers:
Borax - my husband used to be in the pest control industry, and they all knew Borax worked, although they didn't want anyone else to know that. It would cut into their profits - ha!
Other answers:
Good old fashioned dish-soap. Pour it right into their holes.
Also - Mix 10%-20% soap and water in a spray bottle to spray cracks & trails when they get into your house.

I have used borax as a deterent for ants. Seems to work.
I don't know about aphids, but the old place I lived in would get ants every year - I would spray them with glass cleaner to kill them and air freshener.
I've heard if you sprinkle some white pepper where you've seen the ants that they'll take it back to their colony and it will kill them.
