Yes, I have vacuumed up my pantyhose, but I also use my panty hose to find things, if I drop an earring or something small, I put an old pair of panty hose over the hose and use it to vacuum up small particles, that way they get sucked up in the pantyhose.

Yes, but not the panty hose type, the thigh high type. They tangled around the beater bar, started to melt when they got hot while I kept vacuuming and then threw off the belt. Thankfully, my hubby was able to untangle them off of the beater bar and put on a new belt, but that torched those expensive lace topped thigh highs. The funny thing is I cannot figure out how they got under the couch???
I can't begin to tell you the things my vacuum has gotten! Tubes of lipstick, pens, pencils, legos, coins, hell even a sock! I've also gone thru 6 vacuums! But my carpets are clean!
