I'm going to call for to purchase a washer and dryer soon. Which one is the best?

I'm looking for front loading and energy streamlined. I definitely don't want it to use more wet or electricity than absolutely vital. I also want something with a clad warranty.
If that was my just criteria, which brand would you suggest?


Answers:    Whirlpool makes Kenmore, Whirlpool, and Maytag. They are indistinguishable washer with different cross plates. Sears will stand behind Kenmore more later the others.

I'd recommend GE brand....my first washer and dryer lasted 11 years next to hard, each day use (sometimes 3 or 4 loads in soon!), so that's what I'm sticking with.
Whirlpool Duet

I wouldn't trade mine for anything. It have a sensor that tells how much laundry is contained by so it will only use the amount of sea necessary.
Kenmore. They later forever and ever!

find a used set on craigs list... brands do concern really... if you're heard of them they're polite. Buying it from a place that will install them may help on a warenty... some of thoses super awsome ones are really tidy. I really love my steam setting on my dryer!!!

Hope this helps, within the May 2007 issue of Consumer Reports here's how they rate:
Washers, front loading
Frigidaire, GE, Kenmore and Whirlpool for front loaders are the most reliable
Amana, Fisher & Paykel and kitchenaid for the most repair prone

Dryers
No brand stood out as especially reliable but the more repair prone are amana and kitchenaid
We have a Frigidaire Gallery Series high-efficency front-loading washer, and I would sure recommend it. It uses very little dampen and is very barely audible. And, of course, it does rinse the clothes very ably, too.
Kenmore, They last forever and work awesome, using little heartiness and water. I get mine at Sears.
I would go for Maytag, it's activeness efficient and end a long time.

I would go next to Frigidaire.Consumer reports gives it thumbs up and so does the female that replied to you that she has that brand
I love my swirl cabrios - 3 normal loads at a time. And they do it and everything is so verbs.

Having 2 teenage girls - they can use the tub towels.
