Answers:    buy the bosch. they are german but made in the u.s. i believe surrounded by north carolina. the ge front load is crap. i seize more returns on them than anything. and as stated before ge is selling out and getting out of the appliance business. the bosch is excellent talent
GE is the ultimate home apparatus maker. However, they will soon stop making kitchen appliances. :(
