How do you do a broad cleaning of a Papasan, or Peacock, stool cushion?

The round cushion of the chair is dirty merely all over; I've already flipped it to use the other side, and it is manifestly time to clean the yard goods. I've had it for 3 years and enjoy never cleaned it. Gross. How do I go roughly speaking cleaning the fabric minus spending a lot of money?
