How can i wash colored clothes when i ran out of detergent and all the stores are closed now?

Answers:
You can actually substitute shampoo or dish soap liquid for laundry detergent. My friend, Missy actually taught me this - and it works. As she put it, "It's all soap."

Use some really nice smelling shampoo! It worked for me!!

Do you have a dishwasher? Use that detergent. I've done it a long time ago. Just don't sue me if your expensive dress falls apart.
Use soda....
soap
try the diswasher soap.
it's powerful!
that should do it!
Washing up liquid or shampoo will work in teh washing machine. Alsoif they only need 'refreshing' rather than if they are really filthy, run them with no detergent, there will be enough still inside the machine to do one small load. I never buy laudry detergent, I use home made soap and my laundry is great. Vinegar can be a useful rinse aid if you do this to cut the suds
Wait until tommorrow, when the stores open!.
In a pinch, I've used dish detergent. It fairly mild and good on greasy stains. About 1/8 cup should do a full size load.
Well, my answer is already taken. I was going to sugget dishwasher soap.
wait until the store open to buy it. simple......
Use just a little dishwashing liqid. Just a little though or you get suds out the top.
Its simple, Use a bit of your shampoo for lather and very little of your liquid dish washing soap, say 25% of the shampoo.
that will retain all coloured vegetable dyes (cotton wear) and also clean the fabric, add a wee bit of fabric softners if u have them.
If u are using velvet or any polymer fabrics then u can add upto 50% of dish washing liquid to it cause the colouring would be synthetic. There is no harm.
i used dish liquid before it works
Dishwasher detergent or lysol: I've used lysol to do my laundry a few times when there was a flu epidemic running around where I work, and it worked well.
dishwashing soap may have a bleaching agent. Try ammonia of baking soda and vinager.
