Accidently put in white shirt with darks, now it is faded. How do I get it back to white?

Don't waste your money on bleaches etc. and have the shirt dyed, but I have to warn you that it might shrink a litle bit if the fabric is a cheap one and in this case throw it away.
Scare it or something. Tell it you have it's death bed all made up for it and it should hit the sack. Perhaps it will turn white at that point.
soak it in some bleach or if you can get it from supermarket it called Blu its great for whites
Check the fabric label and see if you can use bleach or just non-chlorine bleach. Try oxyclean if not. You will most likely have to wash it more than once. You can also buy dyes for clothes in the laundry section and run them through the washer or even soak in the tub.
