Carcinogens surrounded by cleaning products - am I putting my family's form at risk?
Are products like this carcinogenic?
If so, can anyone suggest a non-harmful route (i.e. non-harmful products) of keeping things clean and shiny in need risking my family's health?

Answers: Use lemon liquid or vinegar. If you are really worried, write to the manufacturer and ask for a safekeeping data sheet; beneath the CoSHH and the CHIP regulations, they must supply one if requested.

Always safer to rinse your things. Many cleaning products use surfactants that may not be carcinogenic but have similar effects as human hormones (Alkylphenol Ethoxylates), and long permanent status high exposure may incentive physiological changes, best avoided if pregnant.

I also agree near rinsing. If the directions say to rinse, do it.
These products and the chemicals within them have be in use for generation without the slightest indication that they are carcinogenic.
