What is the best way to clean the tub?

The problem is the hard water on the tile and the tub isn't a smooth surface, so dirt gets trapped into it.

i fill the bathtub with water and a few cups of bleach, let it soak and use a broom to scrub it so you don't strain your back...works for me

I use cleanser & a wirey thingy.Also vinegar may help.
(1)do not use Ajax. it is an abrasive.
(2) use Strong solution of vinegar. or
(3)just use dish washing detergent.
try the L.O.C. multipurpose cleaner with a non scratch scrub bud and maintain with bathroom or shower cleaner from then on
