Using rubbing alcohol on your chrome faucets makes them really shine, and it costs next to nothing.
A mixture of liquid dishwashing detergent--like Dawn and baking soda, made into a paste and rubbed on nearly any fabric stain will take the stain out without damaging the fabric, as long as it's washable. It even worked on melted crayons! (kids threw clothes in the dryer with crayons in the pockets--what a mess!)
