What can I use to mop the floor?

I'm out of mop stuff and don't wanna get out within the cold...is there anything else I can use besides the mop products? I've hear windex, dish detergent, laundry detergent etc....got any philosophy what work and won't make the floor slippery but WILL gain it clean?
