How do I clean a leather purse?

Watching TV, I learned that "bathroom" floors are full of germs ... well ooops, I set my purse on the bathroom floor. I don't want germs on my cute purse ... how do I clean it?

Answers:
No matter where you place the purse it will end up with germs. But, if that purse is special and you paid good money for it, just use one of those leather shoe cleaners. You know, those kind that the salesperson tries to sell you when you buy new shoes. If the purse is inexpensive, then just use a baby wipe.

Don't laugh. But banana peels are super and do not have that yucky chemical smell. This works, I have leather shoes, boots, and purses and they all get shined with some monkey business.
If all you are worried about are germs, dampen a paper towel with lysol and wipe it off.
the same way i clean my leather couches, i use liquid ivory soap and mix with warm water to make it soapy and wipe it down then dry with a soft towel. (very easy and it makes it clean and shiny)
