How can I get yellow spots out of my whites caused by bleach?
Answers:
I had a similar problem with my kitchen countertop. I had a large gray stain on it from when I polished my silver. I tried leaving a coat of Clorox gel cleaner on the stain for awhile, but it didn't help much. So then I took a cottonball soaked in straight bleach and left it on the stain overnight to see it it would whiten the counter in that one spot. When I removed it in the morning there was a bright yellow spot on my counter where the cottonball had been. I then soaked a cottonball in hydrogen peroxide and left it there all day. It removed the yellow spot to the point where it is hardly noticeable. So my recommendation is to try hydrogen peroxide on the bleach stains.

If the bleach is the culprit, they're not spots, the color is gone.
It may be chemicals in the Softner. Call the seller, or better yet, a competitor.
You may have a cliam if it is that.
Try that bleach pen on the spots and if you think it's your water softener then try a friends who does not have that or take them to the Laundromat and see what happens
