If you totally dread doing this task, conceivably do this after you use your current method. You won't have to scrub as rugged. Plus in doing so you'll see the stuff i.e. left astern by not hand cleaning.
I similar to the old fashioned duster mop with squeezer mop bucket. Use VERY hot hose down and a very little bit of sudsy ammonia. This will smartly cut just something like any kind of grease and not discolor your linoleum. Go over it near a clear water rinse using the mop afterwards.
I LOVE my libman wondermop they deal in them at Target, Kmart, and Walmart.. It is inexpensive usually about $15 for the mop w/ a lead and $8 for the replacement heads.. It's lightweight flowing to use and easy to remove the boss for washing.. It get into corners and gets dirt really economically. I had a swifter and found that it gone a nasty residue... I similar to to use a disenfectant cleaner/hot water move about over the floor once and then use a verbs bucket of water and rinse the floor... I own small children and I don't want them to ingest anything.. Then I have a microfiber duster that I swish over the damp floor to pick up any leftover sea... Also, I vacuum my kitchen floor once a day and sweep it after every buffet... You can use diluted bleach, however it may in time dull the floor.... I've tried every other mop and I LOVE the libman.. The vileda be heavy, expensive and knotty to replace the head... A generic mop the pave the way wasn't as heavy duty or the replacement head were out of stock... I resembling the libman... It's good try it... biddable luck
