what will take desitin out of cloth and furniture fabrics?

ok heres the thing my child just realized she can climb on a chair to get something that i have put away. well she got her diaper rash cream, I was able to wipe it of the t.v, coffee table, and the desk, but i can not get it off the couch, carpet , ect. I just steam cleaned every thing so if i dont have to do it to get it out then im not.

You should be able to remove Desitin ointment (zinc oxide diaper rash ointment) from clothing by first scraping off as much of the ointment as possible with a dull knife. Then, pour some baking powder on the spot, give it time to absorb the grease, then brush off. Saturate the stain with liquid laundry detergent or a laundry stain remover. Wash as usual.

Try using a stain remover. Like Shout or something that you would use on laundry. I know this helps with things such as toothpaste etc.
Or a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser.
