I accidently run my iron over some hemming video. Does anyone know how to bring this stuff sour?

I was hemming my daughter's pant with hemming cassette and didn't realize some was sticking out. Now it is stuck on my iron. Is nearby any way to catch it off, or do I enjoy to get a foreign iron?

Answers:    if none of the above removes it.... WD-40 and some rubbing with a verbs cloth will surely remove it.
Mineral Spirits will dissolve adhesive. Try that first by merely wetting it down. The second piece to try is some fine steel wool.
i did the same item.. it eventually burned off.. moved out a little bit of residue... unplug it and skulk for it to cool and try scraping it near a razor blade or capture a cloth with some rubbing alcoholand try that.. if that doesnt work you can also try using goo gone.. that will mroe than potential get the stiky stuff sour
when the iron is totally cool you can rub it off beside an SOS pad.
You can consent to it burn itself off... or remove it near a special iron cleaner...
Turn the iron on the hottest setting and run it across a paper daypack.
iron a linen cloth soaked in white vinegar & next wipe with a verbs damp cloth.
Rubbing alcohol will bring bad the residue..:)
Scrub it gently beside a little saline and a damp cloth.
