How do you get a motor oil stain out of carpet?

In the house.

Answers:
I use a Product called Spot Shot! So far it's taken out everything including Blood! Just make sure you use a white cloth, a few of them as to not resmear it with the oil already on the cloth and then rinse the carpet with water so the residue of the cleaner doesn't hurt your carpet! It's the ONLY bought product I use now for stains!

Here's some tips I just looked up for yah from an Awesome book I have called Favorite Helpful Household Hint by the editors of Consumer Guide. (Though I've never tried these!)
"To remove grease stains scrape up as much spilled grease as possible and apply dry-cleaning fluid with a cloth.
Or rub with paint thinner, cover with salt, rinse and vaccuum!"


I LOVE SPOT SHOT though!! I tell everybody about it!!
I get mine at Safeway or HomeDepot!
