What's The Best Way To Go About Cleaning My Closet - Come, Boss me around, Tell me What To Do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Boss me around, recount me what to do,m what to use, keep surrounded by mind, I need to be to bed by 10:15.
Answers: Well, since this situation took four years to grow it's not going to get done surrounded by an hour.
First, the rest of your room needs to be believably clean. Whenever I be a kid and let my room pile up--the first article I would do is make my bed and pile everything on it. Then I'd put everything where on earth it belonged. After the bed and floor were totally cleaned I'd move out the furniture and vacuum everything throughly. Then, I'd simply pick one draw that was stuffed full of unwanted items and dump that in a pile and move about through it until it is done.
What you need is to pinch fifteen minute breaks about every forty-five minutes to an hour so you don't seize overwhelmed. Tackle one task at a time.
Get three plenty or boxes.
One bag is for litter. One bag is to donate. One case is for all the items that don't belong contained by your room....I used to use three laundry baskets and when they are filled after I empty them where on earth they belong and begin again.
If you set a timer and see how much you can clear out contained by fifteen minutes it can be a lot of fun. I used to play "pound the clock" to get motivated. I'd other put on my favorite music and dance around singing while I cleaned.
If you spent one hour back bed every night sorting and straightening...dusting and vacuuming, it could be done contained by a week OR you could do an eight hour shift on a whole saturday.
If your entire room is cleaned and straightened and very soon you want to tackle the closet the best piece to do is....take out singular the clothes and shoes that you KNOW fit you and that you really, really love.
Put them somewhere else in the house as a pro tem storage or lay them on your bed. Then pull out definitely everything--take all the broken toys, behind the times papers, and garbage and put it within a garbage sack.
Then take adjectives the clothes. toys and books that you don't want that are in okay or worthy condition and put them in a shoulder bag to donate to a local shelter or a Goodwill store.
Then, take adjectives the hangers and put them within a laundry basket. I singular use plastic hangers--never wire. Anyway, put them adjectives in alike direction. If any are broken or if they are wire and twisted throw them away--they will merely damage your clothing.
Now, you draw from a damp cleaning cloth and wipe bad the dust from the shelf and edgings and poles. Vacuum up the edges and flooring...Then, rehang your clothes in groups.
This is where on earth the fun begins--you can really be creative and do everything by color or design. For example you can hang adjectives your pants together, adjectives your tops together and all your skirts and dresses together. Or you can do the full thing by color. All your red, pink, white, blue, etc. hung together and depending on what mood you're surrounded by when you choose your outfit you can wear a certain color for the morning. (That's always fun to do.) You could even swing all your clothes surrounded by ready-made outfits. If you have a favorite top and pant you always wear together a moment ago hang them on duplicate hanger--it saves space and time looking for both of them.
Anyway, You can other take a past and after picture and do something fun to celebrate when you're done.
If you haven't worn it contained by six months, you probably aren't fond of it anymore and should just seize rid of it. It's just taking up space. Consult beside your mom about what you should throw out and what you should donate. The winter stuff, distinctly, should stick around until the end of winter -- later, as you look back, you can throw out any of it that you didn't in truth wear during the winter.
You're funny! And so is your mom!
First of all, summer is over, so clear out adjectives the summer stuff.
Next up is shoes - if they don't fit, have holes or are only plain out of style - clear them out.
Anything with rips, tears, stains - clear it out.
Of everything departed - if you haven't worn it in olden times year, clear it out.
By my accounts, you should be left beside only clothes that you certainly like and hold worn in yesteryear year, and the winter clothes that you need to sort through - which you will do tomorrow.
Take a reflective breath, clear off some space on the floor and fashion these piles:
Goodwill/Charity
May Keep
Too worn out to donate
Keep - these clothes stay in the closet
Once you've sorted these piles, pack up the Goodwill stuff - don't look at it again so you won't be tempt to keep stuff. Be merry that at your age you can give to others :)
Look at the "May Keep" pile - seriously, do you really want it or involve it? No, put that all surrounded by the Goodwill pile too :)
Too worn out pile - ask you mom what you should do with these or pack separately and see if Goodwill will steal it.
Keep - look through the closet again, you'll find a a few more things you don't need, pack those up.
The process to keep this from going on again is to once every 3 months look at your closet and see what things you haven't worn - not winter clothes if it is summer you know, but that pink sweatshirt or those green socks that you thought were cute that you aversion now. And if anything have a tag on it that you;ve never worn, if you don't wear it a week after you've bought it, return it, you don't want it otherwise you'd wear it by very soon :)
good luck!
First take rid of anything you can't use or don't want/need
Then sort stuff then put it wager on in.
Well you entail to take Everything out! Go through it, win rid of everything you don't want or need and later put it back surrounded by. I don't think you'll be done in good time though.
When you wake up & read are when you draw from home from school...start throwing away are giving away.
Keep single what you wear.
~~~Luck~~~
Take everything out of your closet. Pack the summer stuff away that still fits. Go through your winter clothes and give mom the ones that don't fit anymore and inform her if you need modern ones for winter. Straighten out your shoes and purses or whatever you hold in here and reorganize everything that is disappeared to look neat. Hurry up, you entail to go to bed soon.
