when doing laundry which do you do?
Answers:
I put water first like half way then i put the soap and then the clothes. Don't forget the softener.
Other answers:
I put clothes then soap because I judge how much soap I need by how many clothes I have in the machine.

clothes first, soap after its a double loader
I have a separate chamber for soap that must be added first as the machine won't run with the chamber open.
soap in water then clothes
clothes first!.seperate the colours use a cycle of 40 degrees is usually safe! good luck
soap then clothes.
Depends where you do laundry and what you wash with.........at my local laundry mat you load clothes then put the soap in the little hole on the washer......
If it's dry soap I put it in first, if it's liquid I put it in after the clothes.
I have to put the clothes in, close the door, and then put the soap in...if I do it the other way around the soap will drain out through the front and onto my floor (because I have one of those front-loading washers)
I used to do the latter but now I let some water get in the machine then add soap add clothes then more soap. I usually do Super large loads and I don't think that one cup is gonna cut it. Don't foget the fabric softner and color safe bleach. And if you go to the coin laundry a drop of dettol or pinesol as a disinfectant from the people who used the machine before you.
clothes and then soap
Clothes then soap. For really dirty clothes I sometimes fill half full with clothes, add a little soap then put the rest of the clothes then more soap.
1/2 the soap, clothes. 1/2 the soap
soap-clothes
Alot depends on the type of machine you are using. If at a laundromat for instance it doesn't matter because the machine won't run until the door is closed and the coins are in.
If you are doing laundry at home just read the instructions for the machine or ask someone!
1st you put the soap, then you mix the water with the soap so it can desolve and then the clothes..
Put the soap in first, let the washer fill and start to agitate, then add the clothes. This gives the soap a chance to dissolve ,and not "cake up",especially when using cold water.
you are supposed to fill up washer and put soap in and let it swish and I know this - I do but I don't do that. I put the clothes in, throw in some detergent andfabric softener and then I am off... but now I can't do that anymore cause I live in an apt and the washer works so you put the clothes in, then you pour detergent and whatever else in the slots on the side and then you put your $ card in and then it washes - best way is water first, swish soap and then clothes so the detergent doesn't stain clothes and so it is well distributed but I lazy
I let the water run for a bit, add the detergent and bleach, and then add the clothes. I have a home washing machine and that seems to work best for me.
soap first then the clothes
clothes then soap
I start running the water - then add soap. It has a little time to mix, and then I throw in the clothes.
I put clothes in first and then soap but I use liquid soap almost always. If I ever use powders I ALWAYS put poder in first and let fill up a bit and then swish to make sure it's all dissolved and THEN add clothes. My pet peeve (Why I use liquid soap) is undissolved laundry detergent still in my clothes. I hate this and what a waste of energy to have to wash clothes again. My mom would pack our washer to the rim and then pour in some powder and close it up and there was always detergent still in the clothes. Drives me crazy!
soap so it get distributed evenly then clothes
