Do clothes shrink aftee wash or become larger?
Answers: CLOTHES CAN SHRINK IN THE DRYER, UNLESS PRESHRUNK. i HANG ALL OF MY SHIRTS FROM THE WASHER JUST IN CASE, SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. GOOD LUCK!!
More fabrics shrink than grow, but any one is possible.
If you're worried about something shrinking, rinse out it in heat up, not hot, water and any hang it to nouns dry or tumble dry it on the low setting, removing it as soon as it's dry.
they shrink...when you dry them. what my mother does is that she doesn't put pants nor shirts contained by the dryer. She lets them nouns dry. They don't shrink that way. My clothes still fit me. lol...hope i help.
I've never had any clothes seize larger after washing, but a few hold gotten 'stretched out' while being agitated within the machine. So matching size, not as stretchy.
A lot of natural fibers - cotton and wool, outstandingly, shrink when washed. The hotter the dampen, the greater the shrinkage.
