How do you dry a runner still chilly from steam cleaning (2 days ago)?

Rented a steam cleaner from B&Q to do bedroom carpet (average sized bedroom). Have have the heat on for two days straight, and much of the runner is still damp, though it's smaller amount wet than it be.

Should I wait a bit longer or buy a dehumidifier (just for this purpose)?


Answers:    save the heat turned up and save the doors to the room open.. try running some fan in at hand.. try and borrow or buy a cheap electric heater near a fan.. probably cheaper than a dehumidifier..
If you can borrow a hanger-on or a heater from someone this will help out . It all depends where on earth you live! if you can open the skylight the fresh air will appropriate care of it . The subsequent time that you steam clean the runner try to vacuum as much water that you can, you hold left too much hose behind or I don`t know the steam cleaner was damaged. If you don't air the room you will winding up up with a musty smell.
