Mine is about 57-60 decibels during regular operation at roughly 4 feet away. It kick up about 10 decibels louder when the pumps, etc. see on. How does this compare to other models? It is a high finish off model so quite honestly I be expecting something a bit quieter. Did I have unrealistic expectations?
Answers: 50db and lower are the best
I compensated $800 for mine, a Kenmore Elite something...it is almost like a squirt plane! I think we get had! My soaring end Whirlpool duet w/d also sux, I am from in a minute on buying lower end stuff...I no longer believe the hype!!!
