What is the best detergent to clean up colorful clothes? And what is best for whites?
Answers: Most detergents work about equal, but liquids work best surrounded by cold water. To keep hold of colors from fading use cold hose, don't over dry them, and turn them inside out when washing them. Yes that really does work. It keep your colthes from getting those little pills all over the outside, which make them look dull.
Whites? Tide and bleach. If you want you can add 1/2 to 1 cup of white vinegar instead of the bleach. Works great and softens the clothes too. And no, in that is no vinegar smell.
I use Tide with Bleach for everything. The bleach contained by it is like Clorox 2 and not dangerous for colors.
