How can I make homemade cleaner for silver?
Answers:
To clean silver, pure silver, use NON GEL toothpaste on a soft cloth, buff, then rinse and dry well. If you're talking about silverware that you eat with, always dry it on a soft, lint free cloth, NEVER store silverware in plastic wrap, plastic bags, or held together with a rubber band, this will cause tarnishing! Never wash silverware on a plastic mat, this also tarnishes. Fingerprints and moisture will also tarnish. Wear a pair of cotton gloves when handling silver and the best way to store it is in acid-free tissue paper, keeps it safe and won't tarnish!
I hope this helps!
