Rust stain removal contained by shirt - did'nt come out next to bleach - Proven Method available ?
Answers: I had this same problem. I gone a light colored container top on the radiator when it was drizzly and it got rust stains. You can try two things to win it out. One you can soak the shirt in wet mixed with Cream of Tartar, which you can take at the supermarket. Or you can get a lemon, or even that bottle shaped close to a lemon with lemon liquid in it ( I presume this works better) and rub it into the stain, and then put it into the sun. I did this for a few days near the shirt, and it gradually washed-out. Don't be concerned if you get stains from the lemon liquid, because after my stains were narrowly noticable, I put the shirt in the bathe with Shout! on where on earth the lemon juice and rust stains be and the shirt came out fine, and near are no rust stains anywhere on it! This works because the lemon has Oxyalic bitter which disintegrates the rust. It performs a chemical antipathy.
2nd what Daisy said! I've heard of the CofTarter method but I've used the lemon liquid & sun method MANY times & it works like a charm!
Wal Mart; Home Depot and Lowes adjectives carry a product call RustOut and another called IronOut.
You may own to try both to see whether your stain really is rust or if it is iron. Look for a white bottle with red and blue sticky label.
