I need to clean my windows outside of my house. I would like to use a squeegee sponge to do it, but..?
Answers:
My mother came up with this one and it works beautifully... use liquid Cascade dishwashing soap, diluted in a bucket of warm water with a sponge mop. Just mop and spray down with the hose and move to the next window. The sheeting action will leave you with sparkling windows and you don't even need to dry them.
Wish I could do this inside too!

Vinegar and water will give you the least
amount of streaks. If your able to wipe it
with Newspaper (instead of paper towel)
you will be impressed with the clarity of the
windows.

The best and easiet solution i have found to clean windows without the sqeeegee sponge - is to use Windowlen and than wipe it off with Newspaper.
The windows Should come up a treat with no mess and no hassel - Vinegar is also good, but the white vinegar that you should use really does stink!
I have a professional window cleaner that gave me his secret. Bucket of warm water, with a cup a amonia, and half cup of joy liquid soap. It's cheap and will not leave streaks. Use on all glass and mirror products does the job well.
