Years ago, my step-daughter spilled BLUE nail polish on my tan carpet... I did get it all out...

you need unused nail polish remover and a few clean rags (old wash cloths... something that you can throw out)

you need to find out if the carpet will stand up to the remover (not dissolve)

pour a little remover and dab, dab, dab, dab, with the rag, using a clean part of the rag each time... DO NOT RUB...

pour more remover and repeat the above... BE PATIENT, but persistant!

After the color is removed, use another clean rag dampened with water and a bit of dish detergent to freshen spot

then take a thicker cloth (or layers of cloths) and absorb wetness...can even put a weight on it for a while.

look up stain removal on the internet...

Remember:
1) learn from this mistake and don't use n. p. in a carpeted area
2) honesty is the best policy... tell your parents
3) APOLOGIZE

Try nail polish remover on it. If not let it dry then scratch off the nail polish with a knife and vaccum it up

I suggest you use pick at it with tweezers until you get most of it out the gut some scissors like the ones you use for your nails to chop it off. If the paint went deep sorry...best luck to ya
go get a q tip. dip it in the nail polish remover, and DAB a SMALL spot on the carpet to see if its gonna bleach the carpet. if its gnna bleach it, the spot will b discolored immediately. so dont make a huge spot. if it didnt bleach it, go ahead and remove the spot with that, but if it did, just dilute it and test again. if u dont wanna do that, theres this stuff called goop or something of that nature. its basically lighter fluid and it will take the stain out but leave a smell. just tell ur mom and dad. if theyll totally flip, just do an online search! sorry
a product called Goof Off
okdon`t panic use hairspay w/ water and soap then let it soak for 5 min or so
use acetone which is stronger than nail polish remover.
Hopefully it hasn't dried yet. Either way wheather it has dried or not, fingernail polish remover should remove it. If that doesn't work, you can use paint thinner but don't use a whole lot as it may damage the carpet more so than the nail polish
