What's the best way to clean the screen of my laptop computer?

There are children's fingerprints and dust. Simple wiping doesn't work. Waht should I use?

Answers:
just go buy some laptop wipes at wal mart or best buy. They arent to expenxive and it will clean it completly off. Plus, they are desisigned for that specific task.
Whatever you do, do not use paper towls or toilet paper. Those prouducts contain micro chunks of wood and other stuf that will scratch your screen. It wont make huge scratches, but over time they will casue the screen to become blurry

Other answers:
a lightly damped non-abrasive cloth or even a tissue

Use windex and a towel... Using regular household cleaners wont harm it as long as you keep it from dripping inside of it.
Depends, do you have a glossy window or the regular ones?. If you have the glossy ones, then you can just clean it with baby wipes or window cleaner, if you have the regular screen you can use a wet towel, and then you can just dry the sceen. It works.
While your laptop is OFF, gently wipe the screen with a pre-moistened, not WET, lint-free cloth. I dust all our computers every couple of days with a small size swiffer duster. Works great in keeping dust off. Kids fingerprints...good luck with that one, I feel your frustration, though.
You can get special stuff for cleaning electronics in any place that sells a lot of computers or electronics.
i just purchased a cleaner for my plasma t.v. at best buy It worked wonderfully on my t.v. and just as good on my monitor. There are no abrasives or detergents that will harm the screen. The kit cost $19.95 and it comes with a towel. I recommend spraying the towel with the cleaner then wipe screen.
