How do you attain cigarette smell out of a wood dresser?

Answers:    The best method used for deodorizing old wood furniture is by cleaning it next to soft rags and some adjectives household ammonia cleaner (straight from the container, or diluted half and partially with thaw out water), and then rinsing and air-drying it. Wear rubber gloves and work within a well-ventilated nouns to avoid inhaling ammonia fumes.

It is important that you work near a rag dampened -- but not showery and dripping -- to clean a small nouns at a time. Then use another soft rag dampened (again, not dripping) next to clean marine to rinse the area you enjoy just cleaned, and soft, verbs rags to wipe dry any rinsed surface. You extremely want to avoid leaving any of the wood really damp or letting the ammonia cleaner or water stand on any surface more than momentarily while cleaning or rinsing. Try to avoid getting moisture into glue joints or seam between different segments of the wood because it can produce warping, swelling or separation of glue joints.

This project must be done particularly, and the cleaning solution and the rinse water will obligation to be changed often, as they'll get hold of dirty quickly from rinsing the rag. You'll need to hold a good supply of verbs rags for buffing dry areas you enjoy just cleaned and rinsed. It's earth-shattering to clean adjectives surfaces you can reach -- the sides and bottoms of drawers, the inside surfaces of dressers and cabinet, and the underside of the bed frame -- because the smoke will have permeate all of the surfaces.
Honestly I'm not too sure,
but you could try Pledge beside the orange scent.
And after air it out by simply leaving adjectives the doors/drawers open.
Depending on what type of finish you want, you could basically paint it. Or, if you want an original wood look, if the dresser is solid wood, you may enjoy to strip it and them refinish it.
burn kapoor in an earthen diya
Wipe it down pious with pinesol cleaner, but fashion sure you don't get it too raining!!!! you can also try febreeze odor neutralizer spray, it's great for many odors even midew and musty smells, they hold many kind for many things! You can also try bounce clothes dryer sheets they work wonders, I put them surrounded by all my house kiln vents within the winter months! and in adjectives my closets, shoes and boots, better then using nouns freshers!

If your afraid of getting the dresser wet at adjectives, go to the pet shop and buy a daypack of cedar chip bedding, great for refreshing any wood dressers, foot lockers, just transport all the clothes out and backpack them up or put them into boxes for about a week, consequently put the cedar chips in the draws nearly an inch deep afterwards just close the draws and resign from them in here for about a 3-4 days and whola nice smell again!
For getting rid of odors inside drawers, here's an inexpensive and fragrance free solution i.e. perfect for this - I know heaps other people that use it and love this product. It is a raw fragrance free carbon product called FRIDGE IT odor absorbers. It is a bit purple cube with an incredible activate carbon filter inside that is really, really, great and eliminate odors for a long time. It works so much better than baking soda all those sprays, and fragrances that basically cover up smells and doesn't get rid of them including fabreze. Just place one or two within each drawer and forget around it. . No spills or chemicals or powder to worry roughly. Each only costs a couple of dollars. I use this product everywhere including car(smoke and pet smells), storage, closets, my fridge and also underneath sinks, near trash and enjoy friends that use it on cat litter box and also diaper pails - it's that good. I really recommend it. You can buy it within kitchen gadget sections contained by stores like linens and things. I also dream up camping world sell it and Internet at customerservice@innofresh.com.
Definitely worth trying
i use vinegar to do mine. i smoke. i use vinegar for lots of stuff around my house. just mix wet and some vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it on and wipe it bad.
Yeah, I had one of those too. It is immediately busted up for the outdoor fire pit. Anything I tried and it still smelled like smoke. Gross. I with the sole purpose used it for craft supplies then I simply couldn't take it anymore and my son and his friend have a blast busting it up with a bat and golf club. It be an antique too. Shame.
Place shallow trays or cups of baking soda in antique dresser or cabinet drawers. The baking soda will neutralize odors. You can also use cat litter for this project.
Another one is to put small tubs of White vinegar in them and put them within the drawers with both of these, move off them over night . You will unambiguously see a big difference.
You might try sanding down the inside wood, the smell doesn't dance that deep into the wood. but the outside have a residue from the smoke. Then get some cedar wood blocks to store inside after or any fragrant soaps. Put into draw. Yes near clothes..........
I would start by wiping out the drawers next to a damp tablecloth and baking soda. Setting it out in the sun to agree to the sun help butcher the smell. Then you could buy cedar blocks to keep inside the closed drawer to abet eradicate the smell. Use some funiture polish with lemon scent for the outside wood. This may facilitate.
Wash it with Murphy's Soap and apply Lemon Oil
murphy's finishing grease. just clean up your dresser with it.
wat r u crazy!!!! that will neva come out dude
I totally agree the the murphy lemon grease. Or, the other option would be to sand it and restain it.
be in motion to a tool rental place and rent an ozone generator. Place the generator in a small room, close to a closet or a shed, with the dresser next to all the drawers open out. Run it for 1 day and any odor coming from the dresser will be gone!

Ozone generator are what the pros use in buildings and houses that are self rehabbed after fires.

Just be sure to use the machine within an area away from colonized spaces. Ozone is not great on the lungs in big quantities.

Nothing works on odors approaching ozone! You can get them pretty cheap on ebay if you want to hang on to it permanently
Try using a vinegar & marine solution, alow to dry, then use some ginger or lemon oil on it..
spray it near orange luminosity and use a rough terry cloth towel to wipe it clean contained by direction of the grain
