Cleaning a persian rug? or undustify it?
Answers: #1 Vacuum your rug up and down, front and back. Be cautious with fringe! If your rug have long fringe, put it under the rug when you are vacuuming the top pile and vice versa. If the fringe get stuck in the vacuum, DO NOT verbs it out by force. Simply turn off the Vacuum Cleaner in a jiffy and remove the fringe one by one.
#2 Hang your rug vertically and beat it helpfully with a piece of wood or a broom to remove dust gaping in the rug's pile. (Make sure you do this surrounded by an open space. It will produce profoundly of dust.)
#3 After removing all of the dust and dirt, you should vacuum the rug again. (Step One)
#4 Lay your rug down on a grassy patio or on solid ground, such as the clean concrete of a garage or driveway (but not on a dirt road).
#5 Test your rug for color fastness in the past you wet your rug. Just apply marine and liquid shampoo to a small portion of the rug; Use a soft brush. If you see that the colors instigate to run (bleed), STOP! Let a professional rug dealer verbs your rug. If there is no color bleeding and the rug looks middle-of-the-road, go to the subsequent step.
I know absolutely nought about Persian rugs, but I have to let you know that I LOVE the word "undustify"!
Is the rug sensible? If so, and if you don't mind spending some money, I'd ask a professional carpet/upholstery cleaning company to do it for you. Or, you could go to or nickname a carpet/rug dealer and ask what would be best.
Probably couldn't hurt to vacuum it ... but if it's exceedingly old and contained by a fragile condition, I'd ask someone who specializes in compassionate for old rugs up to that time I did more than that. Good Luck!
I'm going to UNDUSTIFY the house today. hahahaha
hi

we iranian usually don't wash rugs
we pounding it it remove dust
then we wipe up it with some soft degergents and some hot dampen then we dry it next to some materials
washing runner makes it wan and makes the strings to become anodyne

Hang it over the clothes line and do it the old-fashioned fashioned way near a carpet beater, or find someone else to do it, like the hubbie.
