How do i clean pergo floor so it shines?
Answers:
1 part vinegar
1 part rubbing alcohol (speeds dry time)
1 part water
1 drop liquid dish soap
Keep a spray bottle filled with this stuff for touch up jobs. When you need to mop all over, mix it up in a small mop bucket, doubling the water vs. the other ingredients, and just make sure to wring out the mop well.

cleaning stuff
Any type of hardwood floor cleaner would do it. I also have pergot and I use Pine Sol to clean it and it deodorizes and shines really great.
on pergo flooring you really arent supposed to use anything other than water.
chemicals may cause it to warp or the laminate on the pergo may start peeling.
get some pergo floor shining cleanser
Go to a janitorial supply store and they sell a spray can dust cleaner and mop duster for pergo floors, it is real easy and it shines really pretty.....
I use Home Specialities -- Laminate Floor Speciality Cleaner
It shines, cleans and protects the floor. You just spray it on and use a flat mop to wipe it off. I can do 4 rooms in about 15 minutes. They look beautiful when I do it!
I use my Bissell Steam Mop. It really seems to get my floor clean and there are no chemicals on the floor that I have to worry about with a baby around. The pads can be reused, just take them off, toss them in the washer with a load of whites and a little bleach and use them the next time.
There is just one problem with this solution though... I don't think Bissell makes them anymore, I've looked everywhere for another one to get my mother for a gift and can't fine the Steam Mop or the filters for it anymore. I know there are other steam cleaners for floors out there so I guess I'll be trying one of them next.
