When I clean my coffee maker with vinegar, why does the vinegar turn blue when it comes out ?

Make sure you put 2 cups of water to each 1/2 cup of vinegar. I clean my coffe pot the same way. Make sure that after you run the vinegar solution thru the pot that you run just plain water thru at least twice to make sure it is thoroughly rinsed. Also add a little dash of salt to each batch of coffee you make it kicks out the bitterness and wears down on staining of the pot. Rinse your pot well after every use and make sure you wash your pot and you filter holder with warm water and dish soap every day. Good luck
